Art Auction

1. Create new (“original”) work inspired from the quote:
   Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass…
   it’s about learning to dance in the rain.
2. There will be raffle tickets sold for a raffle for 1, 2, or 3 “big ticket” items at $1 per ticket; minimum 20
   tickets. [We anticipate 500 plus attendees each of whom will purchase at least 20 tickets = $10,000.]
3. The raffle ticket holders will be the jury for the contest, and will vote with their tickets distributing them
   in boxes in front of each original work.
4. In addition to any proceeds from the 50/50 sale of the artist’s work, the artist will collect $.50 for each
   ticket in their box. [Anticipated proceeds of $5,000 plus to be distributed to the artists presenting
   “original” work.]
5. Artists not creating “original” work will only participate 50/50 in the proceeds from the sale of their art.
6. The artist will set a dollar value for their work and a minimum acceptable price.
7. If submitted in time, a photograph of the work may be previewed on the website.
